In mid-March 2021, a batch of fifty 40-foot containers with various goods arrived in Moscow from China via Hsinchu-Zabaikalsk-Vorsino, delivered by a specially formed container train. The entire logistics chain is organized and implemented exclusively by the assets of the largest transport and logistics holding in Russia, Delo Group – Ruscon Group and TransContainer. The traffic of such container trains is planned to be regular.
The main organizational part of the door-to-door container traffic, including rail transportation across China, was taken over by Ruscon Group, the railway component across Russia - TransContainer, which also provided fitting platforms. This interaction has made it possible to significantly speed up the entire process of registration, dispatch of cargo and the speed of its delivery for the Ruscon Group clients, compared to container trains of conventional formation.
According to Sergey Berezkin, President of Ruscon Group, the organization of such a logistics chain by the forces of the Group's companies is part of the holding's policy of implementing new logistics routes based on the needs of the market and customers and increasing the synergetic effect from the joint activities of its assets, and this practice in further will only expand.
